Sophia Betegh is a seasoned project management professional known for her ability to guide complex initiatives to successful outcomes. With over 20 years of experience across diverse industries, Sophia has developed a reputation for turning ambitious visions into reality. Her expertise spans venture capital, clean energy, corporate real estate, and large-scale construction, allowing her to bring a strategic perspective to any challenge.

With over 15 years of experience in the IT sector, Brenda Brassette has held several managerial positions and successfully led numerous projects spanning operations, infrastructure, and SaaS. Brenda is passionate about delivering scalable, sustainable solutions that exceed customer expectations. Throughout her career, Brenda has gained expertise working in both public and private sectors, including BC Ferries, VIHA, IBM, Sprint, and AMEX.

Brenda’s background includes diverse experience in infrastructure, SmartCloud provisioning, asset management, and release management. These experiences have honed her ability to adapt to diverse business environments, enabling her to navigate complex ecosystems effectively. Brenda is currently an active board member of the local Vancouver Island PMI Chapter, contributing her expertise to support its initiatives.

Ashley Drummond is a dynamic project leader with over 15 years of experience. Her collaborative leadership style lends itself well to projects with many different stakeholders. She has a proven track record of bringing structure to chaotic environments, optimizing processes, and leading teams to exemplary results. Ashley’s extensive skill set spans program leadership, project delivery, communication, and process improvement. Ashley received her PMP designation in 2015.

A direct descent of the Plains Cree/Métis community near Duck Lake, SK, Ashley is learning to embrace and celebrate her Indigenous identity in tandem with her European roots.

Charlene (Xanusamega) Everson is an Indigenous Governance knowledge keeper and cultural capacity expert, with a diploma in Indigenous and Community Development and Governance from the University of Victoria. She has held significant leadership roles, including serving on the Band Council and with multi-nation organizations like Nanwakolas. Her involvement extends to chairing the School District 71 Aboriginal Education Council, co-chairing the North Island College Aboriginal Advisory Council, and as a First Nation Education Steering Committee board member.

Alexander Hobrough  is a dynamic Indigenous Project Manager and Business Analyst with a history of delivering high-value projects across diverse sectors, leveraging his MBA knowledge. He excels in full-cycle project management, including planning, execution, and documentation. Alexander’s work emphasizes cultural sensitivity and effective stakeholder engagement, often involving First Nations communities. His key strengths include humour, creativity, and leadership, which he applies to foster positive work environments and drive project success. His career highlights robust IT and business process expertise, significantly impacting educational and governmental settings.

Kevin Langlands is a dedicated project manager with extensive experience in policy, logistics, operations, and public relations, mainly focused on projects that encourage reconciliation and partnership. His role as a Canadian Ranger involves managing emergency logistics during crises like wildfires and floods. At Strategic Natural Resource Consultants Inc., he transitioned the PMO to Agile methodologies and led projects that support cultural protection and infrastructure development for First Nations. Kevin’s work emphasizes community engagement and strategic communication, particularly in fostering relationships and understanding between indigenous and non-indigenous communities

Neil Turner brings extensive expertise in environmental science, community engagement, and environmental impact assessment. As the Manager of the Project Management Office at Strategic Natural Resource Consultants and as a Project Director at Triton Environmental Consultants, he has shown a solid commitment to innovative solutions and strategic leadership. His experience includes roles as an Environmental Assessment Technical Lead at SNC-Lavalin and various leadership positions across notable organizations including Ecofish Research Ltd. and Hemmera. His strategic role on the British Columbia Farm Industry Review Board exemplifies his dedication to environmental and community-focused leadership.
